Liz Trotter

Liz is a seasoned media professional and communications expert with over a decade of experience in environmental issues and progressive politics. Her natural media savvy, instinctive storytelling and environmental law education landed her a communications position in Washington, D.C., where she helped lead national environmental efforts to stifle oil and gas drilling on public lands.  There, she worked with an array of clients including large organizations, frontline communities, and local stakeholders to bring their dynamic voices to the forefront.

Relationships have always been a cornerstone of her career and after spending time at larger agencies, she realized that being larger doesn’t always mean being better.

Seeing clients as partners, Liz hates to miss a media moment. She truly believes that media is a team sport and if one of us wins, then we all win. Her sense of solidarity and ability as a nimble self-starter has proven her efficacy. Her experience in political and national advocacy campaigns taught her that working in real-time is mandatory and that the most effective media pros are the most accessible.

Liz is a first-generation Cuban-American born and raised in Miami, Florida. Her mother came to this country on Operation Pedro Pan, which brought 14,000 unaccompanied minors to the United States during the Cuban Revolution.

Liz currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband and her perfect pit bull, Largo.
